1969 Bösendorfer 275 Concert Grand Piano 92 Note

A rare opportunity to acquire one of the world’s most revered concert instruments, meticulously rebuilt to the highest standard by the UK’s leading piano restoration specialists.

The Bösendorfer 275 is celebrated globally for its commanding presence, vast tonal colour and unmistakable Viennese character. At 9 feet in length, it delivers the depth and authority demanded by concert pianists, recording studios and prestigious venues alike.

This example has undergone a comprehensive, no-compromise rebuild in our Buckinghamshire workshops, combining traditional craftsmanship with modern precision engineering.

Restoration Highlights:

New hand-crafted soundboard – precision fitted to maximise projection, sustain and tonal clarity
New strings throughout – delivering power, brilliance and balance across the scale
Fully rebuilt action with premium components
New Abel Natural Felt hammers – carefully shaped, voiced and regulated for the iconic Bösendorfer warmth and depth
Complete action regulation and weighting – optimised for concert-level responsiveness and control
Cabinet refinished in high gloss black lacquer – flawless, mirror-like finish suitable for the finest interiors and stages
All brasswork polished, detailed and protected

The result is an instrument that retains the soul and heritage of Bösendorfer, yet performs with the precision and reliability expected of a modern concert grand.

Tonally, this 275 offers a powerful, singing treble, a richly layered tenor and a sonorous, orchestral bass that fills even the largest spaces with ease. It is equally at home on the concert platform, in a high-end recording studio, or as the centrepiece of a distinguished private residence.

Every aspect of this piano has been overseen by our master technicians, continuing a family legacy spanning over 70 years in the piano trade.
